Episode 21. Release of “53 Christopher Street”

On this weeks episode of Talk Sex With Dick, NYC Sex Therapist Dr. Richard Mills talked with Chauncey Dandridge (AKA DJ Chauncey D) about the collaborative single release of 53 Christopher Street with Producer/Songwriter Van Hechter. They spoke about this song and how it came to be. Chauncey talked about his  journey recording in Canada, finding his voice, a recent international travel tour, and a recent stent in Facebook jail.

They discuss the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on New York, the gay community, and the world as we know it. Dr. Dick talks about a recent near death experience, when he found a steak knife in his loaded tater tots at Winterland @ Peir 17 with Almost Dr. Scott — the day after attending a Debbie Gibson Album Release Murder Mystery Party.

Chauncey discussed excitement for the upcoming Bushy Amos boylesque tribute to Tori Amos and Kate Bush at Stonewall hosted by Matt Knife (NOTE: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED BECAUSE OF COVID-19).
