On this weeks episode of Talk Sex With Dick, NYC Sex Therapist Dr. Richard Mills explores one woman’s story in Los Angeles and her New Years resolution to avoid Fuck Boys in 2020.
Visiting Los Angelas for the holidays, I interviewed a woman in her early-to-mid twenties, who has found dating difficult. It seems every time she meets a guy “all they want is sex.” This appears frustrating for her, as deep down she wants to settle down, find a nice respectable man — but finds dating in LA extremely difficult.
Exploring her New Years resolution, she says she wants to avoid fuck boys in 2020. At her in her apartment in Silverlake —we lay down a solid plan, to incorporate into her New Year’s resolution to avoid Fuck Boys in 2020. Similar to the descriptions provided by Helen Meriel Thomas at Vice — she provides her own description and definition of how she defines a Fuck Boy, how to spot them, but most importantly how to avoid them.
I explored her past experiences, to which she was able to develop a plan of action that will move her into freedom to avoid fuck boys, but most importantly to become “a bad ass boss bitch.”
She went on to define herself, who she wants to be, but most importantly to understand her own psychology as to why she continues to fall back into her this pattern. It’s clear she wants change, but uncertain on how to make this plan a reality.
We explored specifics, how to take back her power as a woman, and a sure fire plan to avoid these players in 2020. Throughout this interview she appeared contemplative, that she needs to do something but feels hesitant as she wonders if she has the power to place this plan into action.
