Chelsey Caswell (she/her) is a Licensed Master of Social Work at Laike Rising Therapy. Chelsey’s background includes leadership roles in supportive housing and community-based counseling, group work, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing.
Before joining the practice, Chelsey worked in community mental health care, with leadership roles in two supportive housing facilities in New York City. Chelsey is passionate about helping individuals and couples from all intersections of life cultivate skills that promote self-awareness, acceptance, connection, discovery, and emotional well-being.
Chelsey works to create a safe and supportive environment where you can feel seen, heard, and understood as you work to become more aligned with your vision of your best self. By approaching you and your relationships with curiosity, you and Chelsey can help find liberation from limiting patterns and oppressive systems holding you back from your goals.
Chelsey’s therapeutic practice is inclusive, anti-oppressive, LGBTQAI+ positive, body positive, sex-positive, and culturally affirming to dismantle harmful systems of oppression and celebrate the individuality of her clients. Wherever you find yourself in your healing journey, Chelsey will walk beside you as you navigate the path to personal growth through a deeper understanding of the self and how you relate and connect to those around you.
